If you are viewing this, you most likely already know about Talenox's integration with BambooHR and would like to learn how it works so that you can start trying it out.

This 2-part walkthrough will guide you on the following:

You are currently at Part 2 of this 2-part guide - showing you how to connect BambooHR to Talenox directly 😄

Head into the “Employee Listing” page in Talenox and click on “Import” > “Import from BambooHR” option that appears:

You’ll have 2 options to choose from for pushing of employee data from BambooHR into Talenox (Import Type):

  • “Sync with BambooHR” – based on the existing fields created in BambooHR for the employee

  • “Fetch from a BambooHR Report” (recommended) – based on a Custom Report created within BambooHR itself

NOTE: Each Import Type is based on what you’d prefer to utilise in the system:

  • “Sync with BambooHR” - The data pulled from BambooHR via this method is limited to fields that are compatible to Talenox

  • “Fetch from a BambooHR Report”- User must generate a report with the relevant employees and their details in their BambooHR account first. Once generated, they can key in the report’s ID into the input box to begin importing Employees’ details within the generated report into Talenox.

Generate a custom report in BambooHR by heading to Reports > Custom Reports > New Report. Select the fields that you’d like to include in for the import to Talenox.

This method allows for more flexibility and also to ensure that there are not too many

redundant Custom Fields created in Talenox in each employee’s profile.

NOTE:

  • Data from non-compatible fields imported from BambooHR will be stored under ‘Custom Fields’ section of the Employee’s profile.

  • Importing ‘Emergency Contacts’ from BambooHR into Talenox (a.k.a. Next-Of-Kin) via this method is not supported and may result in an error.

Click on “Import”.
