We've introduced two-factor authentication or commonly known as 2FA, as a more secure method to protect your Talenox account. You can choose either SMS or Google Authenticator (iOS and Android). Before setting up 2FA in Talenox, we would advise you to download the authenticator app beforehand, if you are opting for Google Authenticator.

Here's how you can set it up:

1. Head to Username > Account & Preferences

2. You can enable "Text Message".

Thereafter, it will prompt a pop-up for you to enter the code that was sent to your mobile phone.

-----

3. Alternatively, you can choose Google Authenticator.

Once "Status" is enabled, a QR code will appear in a pop-up message that requires you to scan with the app. Thereafter, enter the code that you can obtain from the Google Authenticator app.

How to back up your Google Authenticator data?

Before you decide to upgrade your phone / delete your data, do ensure that you back up your data first in your existing Google Authenticator app.

Thereafter, you can transfer your accounts to a new phone by exporting them via a QR code generated by the Authenticator app. You can refer to this article for the step-by-step guide. 😎
