Under special circumstances, your employees might be following a different EPF contribution rate from what is mandated under statutory guidelines.

Not to worry though, you can easily change the EPF rates for both Employee and Employer contributions inside Talenox for each individual employee in their employee profiles.

Adjusting EPF Contribution Rates for Your Employees

1) Head to Profiles > Employee Listing > Select Employee > Edit

2) Scroll down to the Statutory Details section. Under EPF(Employee) setting and EPF(Employer) setting, you will see that the options are selected as “Statutory Default” by default.

This means that the system will automatically follow the current EPF Contribution Rate set by EPF’s guidelines in Malaysia.

3) To change the EPF rates to a fixed contribution percentage, click on the dropdown list to change this accordingly.

If your employee is contributing more or less than the Statutory Default, you are able to change the percentage of the contribution rate for your employee here.

You can now adjust your employee’s EPF contributions rate with ease. 😁
