The following are some frequently asked questions that we often encounter:

  1. Where can I opt out my employees from the LINDUNG 24 JAM contribution?

  2. Do I need to update this one by one, or can I bulk update it for all my employees?

  3. Does this opt-out apply to foreign employees too?

LINDUNG 24 JAM (Skim Kemalangan Bencana Bukan Pekerjaan / SKBBK) is a new SOCSO scheme providing round-the-clock protection for eligible employees, covering non-work-related accidents. Contributions are fully borne by employees.

As of 10 July 2026, the Malaysian government has made this scheme voluntary (opt-out) for local employees, while it remains mandatory for foreign workers. Talenox has added a Yes/No setting per employee so you can reflect this.

How to Set for an Individual on Employee's Profile

  1. Go to Profiles > Employee's Listing > Employee Name

  2. Head to the section Statutory Details

  3. Select Yes to keep the employee contributing to LINDUNG 24 JAM, or No to opt them out

  4. Click Save

You can follow the steps below if you need the steps:
