The following are some frequently asked questions that we often encounter:
What are particulars that our employees can edit in their My Profiles if we set Limited Edit Access?
Can our employees edit their job details and statutory particulars by themselves?
I don’t want to manage my own user’s employee’s details, can they edit themselves?
In Talenox, when you are creating a user account for your employee, you have several options to choose from when giving employees access to the “My Profile” module:
Hidden - To not allow users to access this module
View Only - To allow users to view their particulars
Limited Edit Access - To allow certain particulars for users/employees to be allowed to edit/manage. the option to set the “Limited Edit Access” modular access rights to the My Profiles
What can users edit if they have ‘Limited Edit Access’ access rights chosen given to them?
Currently, employees with ’Limited Edit Access’ to the My Profile module can edit only 4 personal particulars sections in their Employee Profile, which are the following:
1) Personal Details
Marital Status
Race
Religion
Chinese Name
2) Identification Documents
ID Number
Passport Number
Passport Date of issue/Expiry
Nationality
3) Contact Details
Contact Number
Address
Postal Code
4) Next of Kin
Add/Edit next of kin
What are the sections that employees cannot edit?
Other sections like Payment Details, Current Job Details, Statutory Details (SHG contribution) and etc. are restricted and will need to be entered by HR/Admin as these particulars should only be updated by a HR/Admin of your company.
These other sections of the employee’s profile might affect the following, when updated:
Payroll calculations
Statutory Contribution calculations
Leave Entitlement and Application
