If you want to remove the Statutory Withholding reminder showing on your employee payslips, as per the steps in our Payment Reconciliation guide, you need to ensure the following steps are completed during the bank file downloading process:

  1. Tick the ‘Include reconciliation’ checkbox

  2. Only then can you export the bank file from the system

The Statutory Withholding reminder will only be removed from payslips after you have exported the bank file from Talenox.

How to Include Payment Reconciliation in the Bank File? (Bank Payment)

1) In the ‘Make Payment’ page, click on the drop-down arrow to view the payments you have processed and head over to “Select payment method” dropdown list:

2) Choose the “Bank Transfer” option

3) Ensure that the “Include Reconciliation” checkbox is ticked.

4) Proceed to download the Bank File once you have confirmed that the bank file amounts are correct

You can refer to this guide for the full steps on bank file download in Talenox for salary disbursement:

How to include Payment Reconciliation in the Bank File? (Cheque Payment)

1) In the ‘Make Payment’ page, click on the drop-down arrow to view the payments you have processed and head over to “Select payment method” dropdown list

2) Choose the “Cheque” option

3) Ensure that the “Include Reconciliation” checkbox is ticked

4) You can then proceed to set the Cheque payment(s) as “Paid”

After executing the above steps for both payment methods (Bank, Cheque), the statutory withholding reminder generated in payslips for employees will be automatically removed in Talenox.

Hope this helps! 😃
