[2026] Submit Appendix 8A directly to IRAS from Talenox

NEW! Starting YA 2026, you can submit Appendix 8A together with IR8A and the Appendix 8A will be generated from IR8A form


Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS)

To ensure you can use this feature to submit Appendix 8A easily, you have to be under AIS. If you are not under AIS, you can simply apply for AIS accordingly.


New! AIS registration is now available year-round.


Registration is currently open for Year of Assessment (YA) 2026. If you register between 1 Jan 2026 and 1 Mar 2026, you may choose to register for either YA 2026 or YA 2027. Employers may register for AIS once they have started hiring. 👍

How to generate Appendix 8A in IR8A ?

To generate Appendix 8A in IR8A, you can refer to the guide below or follow these steps:

1. Head over to Payroll > Payroll Settings > IR8A.  Choose your Year of Assessment (YA) and click on "Generate IR8A for ... " option that appears.

2. Head to the specific employee's IR8A form to manually enter Benefits-in-Kind amount in D8 field and click Save

3. Click Generate Appendix 8A

4. You can click View/Edit Appendix 8A to make changes to the form

5. Update your Employer Info and double check all the Appendix 8A forms to ensure that everything is in place.


You can submit Appendix 8A along with IR8A and Appendix 8B, starting from YA2026.

Checking Your Submission Status

IRAS will get back instantaneously with an acknowledgement email to the authorised person and contact that is updated in myTaxPortal.

You can also check your status over at myTaxPortal and find the status update under:

  1. Employers > Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) > Submit Employment Records

  2. Click on "BEGIN AIS SUBMISSION"

  3. The record will be found at the bottom half of the page.


After generating and submission of Appendix 8A and IR8A, you can now choose to publish individual tax forms to employees via email.
