The following are some frequently asked questions that we often encounter:

  1. How to ensure that AIS submission is successful without receiving notification or acknowledgement?

  2. Where I can view past submissions when successfully submitting the tax form?

  3. I have submitted the tax form IR8A but I do not know if it is successful

You can check your past submissions by clicking View Past Submissions. If there is a Submission Date, the submission was successful.

IRAS will get back instantaneously with an acknowledgement email to the authorized person and contact that is updated in myTaxPortal.

Checking your Submission through IRAS

You can monitor your status by visiting myTaxPortal and following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Employers > Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) > Submit Employment Records.

  2. Click on "BEGIN AIS SUBMISSION."

  3. Your record will appear in the bottom half of the page.

If your status hasn't been updated yet, please allow IRAS some time, usually about 2 working weeks after submission, for it to reflect in myTaxPortal.

NOTE: For more details on how to use MyTaxPortal, there is a guide already given from IRAS on how to use their portal here.

If you still do not see the submission reflected after this period, feel free to contact IRAS directly for clarification. 😎
