1) Validity
The Tech.Pass is valid for two years initially, providing pass holders with the flexibility to participate in activities such as founding or investing in companies, leading corporate entities, lecturing at local institutions, or mentoring startups.
There's an opportunity for a one-time renewal for another two years, subject to certain criteria that ensure the pass holders continue to contribute significantly to our tech ecosystem.
2) Applicant's Profile
Tech.Pass is designed for established tech talent who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the tech field. Applicants might be technical experts leading cutting-edge technological development, founders with a track record of successful high-growth companies, or recognized leaders in their tech domains.
3) Criteria
To qualify, applicants must satisfy any two of the following criteria:
Have a last drawn fixed monthly salary (in the last one year) of at least S$20,000 or its equivalent in a foreign currency.
Have at least five cumulative years of experience in a leading role in a tech company with a valuation/market cap of at least US$500 million or at least US$30 million funding raised.
Have at least five cumulative years of experience in a leading role in the development of a tech product that has at least 100,000 monthly active users or at least US$100 million annual revenue.

The Tech.Pass offers extensive flexibility. It enables pass holders to start and operate businesses, be an employee in one or more Singapore-based companies, mentor startups and lecture at local institutions. Tech.Pass holders can also transition between roles and entities during the pass's validity, fostering a dynamic career in Singapore's vibrant tech landscape.

To quickly set up Tech.Pass, just head to Profiles > Manage My Database > Employee Listing > Employee Name > Identification Documents > Immigration Status and select "Tech Pass" from the drop-down list.
