After processing payroll in Talenox, you can download statutory files (e.g. CPF) by heading over to Payroll > Payroll Settings > Month Total and clicking on "Export Bank Payments / CPF / Reports"

We cannot help with FWL submission as MOM does not have an upload function or API for integration. GIRO payment can easily be set up for FWL payments to MOM.

Submission of Statutory Contributions

To ensure you submit your statutory files on time, do take note of the following deadlines to ensure your company will not need to pay fines:

1) CPF (Central Provident Fund which includes CPF, Self-Help Group (SHG) funds and SDL)

Contribution / Payment deadline: 14th of the following month

(Sources from MOM)

Late / Non-Payment Penalties: If you don’t comply with the CPF Act, you may be liable to the following penalties

  • Late payment interest charged at 18% per annum (1.5% per month), starting from the first day of the following month after the contributions are due. The minimum interest payable is $5 per month.

  • A fine of up to $5,000 and no less than $1,000 per offence and/or up to 6 months jail.

  • A fine of up to $10,000 and no less than $2,000 per offence and/or 12 months jail for repeat offenders.

  • Fine of up to $10,000, imprisonment of up to 7 years or both if you deduct your employee’s share of CPF contributions but fail to pay the contributions to CPF Board.

2) FWL (Foreign Worker Levy)

Contribution / Payment deadline: 14th of the following month

(Sources from MOM)

Late / Non-Payment Penalties: If you don’t pay the full levy on time, you may face the following penalties

  • You will be charged a late payment penalty of 2% per month or $20, whichever is higher, for late payment.

  • Your existing Work Permits will be cancelled.

  • You won’t be allowed to apply for or issue Work Permits, or renew existing Work Permits.

  • You may face legal action to recover the unpaid levy.

  • If you, your partners or directors head other companies, these companies will not be allowed to apply for Work Permits.
